After 2 productive and successful years working in a diagnostic imaging department of a large hospital,I recieved an oppurtunity to cross-train in MRI. After 5 mos of sporadic and unorganized training, and while still in orientation with no supervision,I was involved in 3 safety incidents and terminated. The companies policies on orientation, performance review, and performance management were not followed. An interim VP upheld the termination as well as a peer review comittee. Is this a dead horse? I honestly feel the safety incidents were a vehicle or possibly retaliation for my seeking employment elsewhere and I was held solely responsible even though others were involved.Thank you.
