As a classified civil service employee in the state of Ohio, what rights do I have if my employer, a state university, wants to re-write my job description and move it from and CCS positon to Administrative and Professional position? The new title comes with a pay increase, but it may not give me the security that a CCS position has. With the economy being what it is, I'm reluctant to make the change.

What rights are you looking for?

PS. I edited your post to make it easier to read - the font you used was much too small.

I'm not really sure. Do you know what clear differences between the two appointments are? CCS vs A&P - The University is sure has heck not going to tell me.

I don't have a clue. Maybe someone else does.

How about we just use the default font, huh?
