:confused:I live in Ga. i've been treated for the last 3 mos. for carpal tunnel syn. all test come back negative. my last visit the dr. orderd a RA panel (rheumatoid arthritis panel lab wk) now i'm worried if they will state this is not work related> there's no history in my family for RA. I started out with wrist pain and numbness. My concern is if this is RA will I have to pay for all the test they put me through? I took about 4 days off (vacation) I didn't work on computer or write , I really didn't use my right hand that much. There's no pain. (I work on a computer about 4 hrs per day)
Thanks,
Ann in Ga.

If it is found to be RA, your employer's insurer can then determine that it is not a workers compensation injury. Your challenge will be to prove that it was aggravated by the work you perform. That proof will need to come from the medical professionals overseeing your care.
