My question is I just gave my two weeks notice and my boss with cool with it and all. Than today he decides he wants my last day to be on the 20th of March verse the 27th, will I be able to collect for my two weeks or am I only getting paid for one.

The law requires only that you be paid for time actually worked. The employer may choose to pay you the additional week of your notice, but he is not required to.

Yes, I am but not until April 5th.

Then you can file for UI benefits. There is a one week waiting period in Arizona, so you could only get UI for one week, if approved, but it would be better than nothing.

Or maybe the new employer can let you start earlier, if even part-time for training or something. Just a thought.
