im in need of some feedback. last week my boss came down to my work place furious over some faucets being turned off and got complaints. i told him they are on to do list and besides there are 3 other faucets for people to use. than he went off and said i dont have authorization to shut them off, but im responsible for them. then i told him i was sick of cleaning up the leaking water and seeing taxpayers dollars flow down the drain, and he replyd with that attitude i can walk. all my boss does is harras us and throw our jobs in our face. now im getting a call sayin im suspened without pay for a week, after i assumed they fired me and already set in motion my unemployement. recently there wer 5 people in the last few months tht transferred or quit or were let go by this man MY BOSS. is there anything i can do? i am unionized and currnetly unemployed i guess. i dont even know but if im not im afraid to go back to work because of my boss and his constant threats of firing n suspensions.:(

Friendly hint. Capitalization in future posts would make them much easier to read.
We don't know. Contact your union representative to discuss it; that's what you pay dues for.
I wouldn't necessarily worry about your UI claim. There is a one week waiting period in Pennsylvania anyway.
However, I will say that was a career-limiting statement to make.

If you've been suspended for a week and don't show up after the suspension is over, your employer will correctly assume that you have quit - as will the unemployment division.
i dont even know but if im not im afraid to go back to work because of my boss and his constant threats of firing n suspensions. The boss being a jerk is a good reason to quit - but it's not a reason for which the State will grant UC benefits. Your options are to return to work, start looking for another job right away, and quit this one when you accept an offer elsewhere, or quit by failing to return after the suspension and have no income at all.

i told him i was sick of cleaning up the leaking water
I'm sick of lots of things.
There was a better way of saying it.
