OK, here you go. You are on PTO for a night shift (6 pm to 6 am) and are told to come back at 6 am the next day, what would be the end of the shift you used PTO for. Is this legal, immoral, ignorant?
The end of the shift would be whenever the employer says it is. Shift times are not determined by law.
None of the above.

So you are saying if you are scheduled for a night shift (6 pm to 6 am) that it is acceptable practice for the employer to request you to be in at 6 am when the shift that you took PTO for would be ending? That would be like saying ok you took PTO for your 7 am to 3:30 pm shift now I want you in at 3:30 pm for swingshift......This is why there are unions.

Yes, that is an acceptable practice.
Just to verify, you're not saying you're in a union are you? (I'm assuming you're not in one but saying that maybe you should be.)

"Acceptable" is subjective. It is legal.
