I was hired on as salary and have just been changed over to hourly

My questions


My company will be flying me out to NY
I will be staying for 7 days

How will this work with OT
Do I get paid for the flight time?

How do I get paid for time worked while in NY?

Also the first day I arrive to NY will be my 4th day in my regular work week
So I will be working 11 days straight



Please let me know so I can bring this to my Hr attention

You must be paid for your travel time, though it can be paid at minimum wage. You must be paid for time actually working. You do not have to be paid for time that you can use at your own discretion. Meaning time before & after meetings, confrence or whatever is unpaid time.

Overtime must be paid for hours worked over 8 hours in one day, 40 hours in one workweek. And the 7th consecutive working day in one workweek. Each work week is looked at seperate. So working 11 days in a row is irrelavent.
