I have a quick question regarding Alabama real estate law.
1. I have my property listed with a realtor
2. I had a contract on the aformentioned property
3. The individuals could not close in a reasonable amount of time, they are going on week six now
4. I decided to keep the property and build on it and NOT sell it all, I returned earnest money to the buyers
5. The LISTING realtor, states that they will not let me out of my listing agreement and that if I get a FULL PRICE offer, that I HAVE to sell this property...Is this true???
Seems like if I decide not to sell my property, I should have that right to unlist it with the realtor?? Am I wrong to assume this?

You need to have the listing agreement that you signed with the realtor reviewed by a local attorney to determine what "outs" it gives you. No one here can comment on an agreement that we haven't read.
