I was paid under the table for 8 months.

I was a livein caregiver expected to sleep near the person for emergency and security reasons. Thru out the other hours I would do various chores while carrying a cellphone at all times to be on call.

I was paid a set fee each week plus room and board. Subtracting 8 hours sleep, that put my hours at 16 or 112 a week. Which comes to under $3 an hour.

Without notice, I was terminated.

Can I demand all those actual hours on call and/or working paid?

specifially, can i get those extra hours worked paid back either by minimum wage or overtime wage?
