I began working for a California company in Nov of 2007, after about a year (just short of a year), they allowed me to move and telecommute from Michigan after I petitioned the owner to let me work from home. When I was working in California, there was no issue. I am on salary and my original offer letter clearly implied and stated that I was to recieve medical, dental and vision insurance as do all of the salary employees at my workplace. Now that i've moved, they have discontinued my benefits completely. Is this something they are allowed to do? I didn't sign anything when I moved, my job hasn't changed, my salary hasn't changed.

Please help if you can. I really like my job but I need benefits.

Not to worry. We can always move it to a new forum if need be.
