Hi,

If I am down to my last $100, and I have to chose between buying food/ shelter for myself, or between giving it to Child Support Enforcement Agency, which should I choose?

1. My 2 kids are well taken care of since ex is still employed and has always made more money than me. Plus, ex's new husband is gainfully employed.

2. I am waiting for my first un-employment check, which was delayed because of an error on the first digit of my ssn.

3. Food pantry truck arrives on the 15th and 30th of every month.

4. Do not qualify for food stamps because I qualify for unemployment benefits.

Which would YOU choose?

Thanks!

I would choose to immediately contact the court and file for a modification of child support, spend $15 (usually the filing cost) of my money to file for the modification, then eat. (and I stress IMMEDIATELY contact them to file for modification).

Just my 2 cents.

And I'll double STU's 2 cents.:)
