I am a full time employee that works for a place of business that offers health insurance to their full time employees and we pay about $50 per month towards it from our pay checks. I am recently married and am able to be covered under my husbands policy. My employer told me if I go under his policy they will no longer cover me... My question is can they refuse coverage to me as a full time employee, for any reason? See my husbands policy would just pick up what mine won't, co-pays..ect. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It depends on what the eligibility requirements in the plan document say.

how can I obtain a copy of this plan? Could I just call my insurance company to get one?

Either the insurance carrier or your employer.
