I have a question ? First I know WV law requires a 20 minute unpaid break for every 6 consecutive hours worked. My question is if I only work 6 hours can they make me take a break ? Also can they make me take a break as soon as I get to work. If you do take a break as soon as you get to work then work 6 hour can they make you take another break ? I've been told they have to give you the break and they can make you take it when you get at work. I can't see it ,your not tired or hungry,you just got there. Thanks for help !!

The law "making available" breaks does not contain language regarding when during your shift the break may or may not be taken.

So, when the company says, take a break and take it at XX time, they are within their rights to do so and you take the break.
