I recently acquired a business in Georgia from my late fiance and due to the circumstances I am a month behind on the rent. The landlord has been accepting partial payments on the rent and talked as if she was willing to work with me...however tonight i went to my business and she had changed the locks on the door. I tried to contact her numerous times and left numerous messages but i have yet to hear from her. I have received no notice or any court papers! Is this legal in the state of Georgia? What should i do? Please Help!!!
