I'm currently on maternity leave and received a 60 day notice for layoff. They are laying off 90% of the employees. My employer is offering no severance package after that and we are required to work till March 5th. I'm supposed to join work on Feb 17 according to my original schedule and they told me I need to go to work from 17th through 5th. I wanted to know if by law do they have to pay me for 2 months - the entire 60 day notice period or only when I join. Also does state keep paying me PFL (paid Family Leave)? I still have a couple of weeks left for that or do those benefits cease to exist?

No, they do not have to pay you for any of the notice period you do not work.

You should continue to get your PFL.
