After Being Employed As Exempt For A Number Of Years, I Find That I Do Not Qualify As Exempt Per Flsa Fact Sheet #17e (engineers. Drafter And Others Skilled In Computer Aided Software), Are There Any Protections Available If This Is Brought To Bear On My Employer?

You can try talking to your employer. You can file a wage claim with federal or state DOL for unpaid overtime. You can file a small claims court action for the unpaid overtime. You can talk to an attorney about filing a general court action.

Just a thought, but it is easier to read what you wrote if you do not capitalize every word.

If I did this, could the employer retaliate by cutting salary or terminating employment?

Not legally.
