I was out on a 2 week vacation and a couple days into my vacation I received a notice of termination. Does the company have to go ahead and pay me for the whole 2 weeks?

Texas709 01-09-2009, 10:18 AM Your employer has to pay you for all time worked. Even if you're exempt, you'd be entitled to pay only for time worked if it's the last week of your employment. Your employer is required, under Texas law, to pay your accrued vacation time if the employer has a written policy which requires pay for that time. If there is no written policy requiring payment of accrued vacation, the employer has to pay you nothing. |
