I am a supervisor at a company where one of our workers learned that a co-worker had been previously been diagnosed with TB. That employee told his co-worker that he is no longer has contagious TB. However news of this has spread around our workplace and many of our workers are worried about being exposed. The employee coughs often and just looks somewhat weak or ill.
What can I or my employer do to protect all of us from being exposed to this potentially sick person? Is it within our legal rights to ask that they be tested? We are in CA if that makes a difference.
Thanks
