i was off from work for 13 weeks when i had my son 7 was before he was born and 6 for after he was born... my work has taken 19 hours of my vaction away and 10 hours of my pto away for the time off.. however they are only suppose to take 1 hour pto away from me for every 32 hours i miss (or 4 days).. is it legal for them to take vaction and pto away for the time off and if so why is it that the year before i was off for 9 weeks when i was recoveriong from my son being stillborn that they only took 6 hours of pto away..

It is only illegal if they treat others differently.
