I'm a truckdriver being forced or "froze" to work 16 hours a day.
Is that legal for drivers?
These trucks operate on a company's private property.
They are not intended for city streets or highways.
They are in violation in many many ways for use on public roadways.
This employer does not care.
The employer needs them to exit private property then travel on public roads
less than a mile for repairs.
Drivers called Ohio Department of Transportation who verified the trucks are illegal, and we could be arrested on the spot, lose our CDL's in addition to, thousands of dollars in fines.
Supervisors have been threatening us with the loss of our jobs if we did not do as they ask, which is to jeopardize our livelihood's and perform a criminal act for their benefit.
We have 12 witnesses.
Do we have any kind of a case for a possible lawsuit?
thanks
