Is there anyhting in Illinois labor law about accomodations in the office? Not for a disability but for air conditioning/heat. Our heat is broken at it is 55 degrees in our office. Is there anything in law about this? THanks!!!

Ask if you can bring in space heaters.

Really, I'm serious. OSHA has guidelines about office temperatures but that's all they are - guidelines, not laws.

OSHA *guidelines*: (again, these are just guidelines)

About all you can do is dress warm & ask if you can bring in space heaters as cbg suggested. Hopefully they will get the heat fixed soon. I live in Il. & it is starting to get cold. (hot chocolate weather)
