moved out at end of july, we got the paperwork saying how much we should get back (signed by management) and still nothing.
its only 250, but its our money. this place does not call us back and now we live in a different state.
today when i called they wanted the paperwork they mailed me, proving that i actually should recieve a refund.

someone told me they had 3 months or i would start getting more than what was owed to me (like tripple?)

This man is definitely robbing you blind, you need to let him know you will be contacting the police about it unless he comes up with your money soon.:eek:

its a corporation
we got a call last week telling us the check was in the mail and wait a week. it was coming fedex.
i thought fedex took 2 days max, especially when it's only 4 hours driving.

They should've given you some sort of tracking number. Did it arrive?

thanks for the info. the corporation never called me back. they sent it 10 days after they said they would (they said they were mailing the check that day). i think the only reason they sent the check is because we faxed them a letter stating if we didn't get our money, then we would sue. we got a phone call the day after the fax.
