i have a problem. Our landlord is trying to change our rent because he lives above us and we have occasionally made noise. Like this past time the noise was my roommate throwing up because he had food poisoning. can he do that??? :confused:

right now its month to month

Then legally they can change the terms of your stay every month. Long as you are given proper notice they can raise rent
