i work for a constuction company that requires me to drive to the office evey morning to pick up my company vehicle then continue on to the job site but does not pay drive time from the office to the job site is this leagal
IF you are Non-Exempt then all time from when you pick up the company vehicle at the office to when you return the company vehicle to the office except for a bona fide lunch break would be time worked. The related rules are in the 29 CFR 785.33 (http://www.dol.gov/dol/allcfr/ESA/Title_29/Part_785/29CFR785.33.htm) - 29 CFR 785.41.
IF you are instead Exempt Salary, then you never have a right to paid more then your salary.
