Texas709 08-06-2008, 04:42 AM I'd think there's a whole lot of missing detail. Personnel records may not be as confidential as you think, by law. Medical information may be subject to confidentiality law or regulation, depending on the source of the information. It's also going to depend on the "group" to which anything was disclosed. A number of the regular posters here are well versed in the the area, and if you'd care to share, someone can likely give you some information to alleviate or confirm your concerns. bigredone 08-06-2008, 04:59 AM Employee was 10 years+ on the job never in trouble at work had one away from job situation that resulted in the employer sending employee for an evualation. the employee was not charged with any type of crime. the HR person took all of this to the co-workers and announced it. which includes private medical information and investigative information , which had remain confiditional for about 100 days and had not been released by the emloyee. Seems it was only done to harrass or embarass the employee, there seems to be no other reason. Texas709 08-06-2008, 05:05 AM This is a duplicate post. Answers are being supplied on the other one. I shouldn't start reading on the bottom. Pattymd 08-06-2008, 05:38 AM I shouldn't start reading on the bottom.
