First Issue:
I am a teacher in public school system and my contract states that my arrival time is 7:15. Because of childcare purposes, i was unable to arrive at my campus until 7:25 (school doesnt start until 7:40). After an e-mail about me being late, I went to talk to my principal about the circumstances. He made a verbal agreement with me at the that if i made my time up after-school my 7:25 arrival time would not be a problem. He said "get here as soon as possible and make your missed time up afterschool" The AP and my team mates were all aware of the situatioin and aggreement we made because I immediatly informed them after our discussion. I arrived at 7:25 all year long and it was never again an issue.
Later during the end of the year, my principal and I had a disagreement that was heated over a different topic (it's irrelevant) and when I came to work the next day he had my AP write me up and put me on a growth plan for being late all year. She was not quite sure why he had her write me up (said she had to follow his orders) and expressed that she thought we had an aggreement. Is this retaliation, bullying, harrassement? If I have proof that he made a verbal aggreement with me, is there anything I can do?

Second Issue:
I reported this case to the district. It took 2 months for them to get back with me and report that they "briefly spoke with him" about the situation, and that "he expressed his own concerns". Of course he did..was he suppose to admit to it? My problem is that there was no investigation conducted! They requested that we get together and work toward a resloution. My problem with that is if he is unethical enough to misuse his authority, why would he not retaliate against me again? When I asked to transfer to another campus she said it was up to him to release me. Why would they give him that power after I just reported him? Should the district have done an investigation on this? Do I have any rights here?

Last Issue:

I received job offer from another principal in district to transfer to his campus. Of course, I had to get my manipulative principal's approval. My current principal downed me to the principal that offered me the position and now the job offer has been reneged. My principal reported that I was on a growth plan (which I should not be on). I have always had excellent evaulations (even by my principal) and it was not until our disagreement that things hit the fan. Because of the lack of support from the district I feel that he is tarnishing my repuatation and career. Do I have any legal rights here?

Your emloyer can say anything truthful or he believes is truthful. In this case yes you are on a "growth plan". As a Teacher I will assume your part of Teacher's Union may I suggest you go there for help

and should the district have investigated this situation.
