I am a salary, with exempt status, employee. I understand that I don’t get paid overtime for working extra hours. I receive compensatory time. My question is:
Should I receive 1.5 hour for every extra hour I work? Thank you.

The employer may, but the employer is not required to. Actually, there have been some court decisions that have stated that doing so can jeopardize the exemption.
