I was approved for intermittent FMLA for weekly dr and counseling appts due to a chronic health condition. It took approximately 2 weeks for the approval to come back. Due to my condition, I have been late to work and have missed some days of work. I have notified my boss everytime I was going to be late or going to miss all day. The approval has now come back and per the letter given to him it states that I am approved for weekly drs appointments. Now that this has been approved, he has now gone back and counted all those tardies and absences against since he stated that I was only approved for weekly appointments. I myself thought every hour I missed intermittent or not counted towards my 12 week FMLA approval. Since I was written up now I no longer qualify for a raise or bonus pay come review time. Am I being violated or not?
