Could someone tell me how long a third party ins. carrier has to give a lawyer the policy limits to their driver's auto ins policy? (the driver that caused the accident)

The law firm that is representing me sent them a letter about a month ago, and has still not recieved a reply, Also, they are requesting info from my lawyer instead. He sent me a copy of the letter he sent them, agreeing to supply the info they want, in return for the policy limits. The third party also has someone new on this claim, Does that make a difference?

I know, I know, I should be asking my lawyer this question, but...........Thanks to anyone who wants to answer this.

This isn't addressed by law. If the lawyer subpeona'ed records then the subpeona itself would have a deadline by which the records would be due. If he calls them up and asks, no law says they must respond within X days.
