Hey, I work in a theatre and there was a performance 2 and a half months ago that I worked. When the next payday came I was informed that I wouldn't be paid until the next payday. Next payday came.. still no paycheck. Two weeks ago I finally got paid for it but after taking a look at my paycheck I was only paid minimum wage. This really got me angry because I didn't get paid in full and I had to wait 2 months to get my paycheck when I normally only have to wait 2 weeks because I'm paid bi-weekly. After I noticed that I was only paid minimum wage I contacted the lady who runs the theatre and she promised me I would be paid this past Monday (it is now Friday). When I wasn't paid on Monday I decided I would wait until today since it was Friday to see if I would get my paycheck with the rest of my money. I went to the bank right when I woke up this morning because I have automatic deposit but I didn't get paid. Is there anything I can do about this because it has been 2 months and 2 weeks since I worked and I still haven't been paid fully.

If you were an employee (not an independent contractor) you can file a claim for unpaid wages with the state Dept. of Labor.
