we are per job based, not hourly employees.for example:if we worked 50hrs and grossed 726.09.how do we determine OT?do we take 726.09 and divide by 40hrs then multiply 10x the hourly rate?

Assuming that you are legally Non-Exempt and legally eligible for overtime pay, then each work week stands alone, and the Regular Rate of Pay is calculated based on hours worked during the workweek and compensation earned based on hours worke in the work week (excluding OT premium). In your example, $726.09 divided by 50 hours gives a RRP of $14.52.hr. The OT premium would be 10 hours times 50% times $14.52 pr $72.60.
