ok Im trying to figure something out on this schedule A and B In the costody papers it says we are to work are way into the schedules when the father showes he is ready we then are to talk about the whens and the hows. well its been 8 years and he still does not get him on a set sceduel but insted his grandmother does and we have not had a problem letting him see his grandmother untill now. Now she is throwing up that the court papers say she has the right to get him for the whole month of July because of the schedule A & b. Also last summer we let her take him every other week just to stop the constant nagging. what I want to know is does SHE have any claim or rights as a grand parent event thoug we never talked about the schedule and his father rarely sees him? thanks

She does not have any rights unless she is granted them by the court. Right now, she see's the child because of your good nature. I'm assuming the schedule A & B you are speaking about is a result of a custody agreement between the mother and father of the child. A court may, if she decides to go to court for visitation, follow the precedence you have set for the last 8 years. Until that court order happens, she see's him when you say so, not when she tries to force you into anything. Stand your ground.
