 Are there any laws about the amount of overtime allowed in one week in South Carolina?

No, there is not. You can be required to work the # of hrs. your employer requires/requests you to. (except for a very few occupations like airline pilot, long haul truck driver) If you don't work the required hours, you can be disciplined up to & including being fired.

Just for the record, there are only two states that have placed any limits on the amount of overtime that can be required; California and Maine.
