Does anyone know what law requires 15 days of paid leave for military training? I have a book here that mentions it, but I am unable to find anywhere in the Lousiana statutes where this is mentioned.
I have researched:
RS § 29:401 - 423
RS § 29:38 - 38.1

Scroll down to the military leave section, it has everything you should need.

While many (if not all) public agencies and some private companies provide paid military leave, there is no legal requirement for them to do so.
Some private companies pay the employee the difference between their military pay and their regular rate of pay. Still not legally required.

Thanks. So this rule from the Louisiana Department of Civil Service (link above) is NOT applying to private employers?

Correct. That applies only to the State and its employees.

Yes, my bad. I made an assumption that the OP was civil service since he knew about the 15 days.
