I have a couple of questions my employer laid me off in dec 07 . In march 08 he called me back to but in that time our house had been reposesd and i was forced to move about 2 1/2 hours from my job. I went in to tell him i couldn't come back and to collect some personal items. I ended up working 1 day for him and was paid 100 cash. Now he is contesting the unemployment. will i have to pay back the unemployment. If so do i get some kind of payment plan. I have no money what do they do in that case. any help would be a lifesaver, im sick over the whole thing.
No one here can tell you what the results of the appeal will be. On the one hand you turned down available work, which is generally a disqualifer. On the other hand, you had relocated beyond reasonable commuting distance due to the layoff, which MAY entitle you to benefits. ONLY the state can decide if the circumstances disqualify you or not.
IF you are told that you have to repay the unemployment, the UI office will tell you if a payment plan is available. Nothing we could tell you is binding on them.

Just tell the truth during the appeal. The state looks at each case on an individual basis & then makes their decision.
