I have been trying to find some where that I can not do this but I was wondering if I am able to collect unemployment and still look for a job but try to attend school part time. Would attend school make my unemployment not valid?

You will be considered for UI if you are ready, willing & able to work - looking for employment.

The state will decide if you qualify.

And generally, they will look at the hours you are attending and whether those conflict with the normal shifts worked by individuals in your line of work.

For example, I'm a payroll professional and I am job searching. Since payroll is a "day" job, I could go to school at night and not have it affect any offer I might receive; alternatively, I could not accept a job which required me to work days if I was attending school during the day and that would generally disqualify me from UI benefits.
