I turn in my notice, effective immediately, to my former employer. They asked that I send them all soft copies of files I had stored on my laptop and they would meet me somewhere to get the hard copies of any documents. I emailed them all soft copies. I did not have any hard copies of any of their documents. I only worked for them for about 4 weeks. Payday is on the 1st. I didn't receive payment so I sent an email. They stated that they did not received the hand written notes I had taken when in meetings with them and they would need to receive that and I would be paid their next pay period. I email the manager around 6pm last night and told them to meet me today at 10:30am. They emailed back this morning and said they waited to hear from me and now they had something to do. How do I obtain my last Paycheck from them? I resigned on April 24.

Final pay when you resign in Texas is due the next regular payday after you last day of work. Allow for mailing time. If you do not receive your pay within a reasonable time after that, you can file a complaint with the TWC.
