She told me this week end that she is going to community college part-time so she can find work. She is still living with her mother and live in boyfriend of 6 years. She refuses to married so child support is not reduced.

CS in NY stops at age 21. However, you should get a consult with a local attorney to see if the fact that your daughter's BF is living with her and her mother might be a loop hole for ending CS earlier.

I think that he was referring to the mothers live-in boyfriend (he said boyfriend of 6 years....... I definately hope he didn't mean the daughter!) He is apparently under the impression that this should have some bearing on child support (whether or not Mom marries her boyfriend).
