i am a freelancer in nyc and am now 6 months pregnant. i have been at my current job for 6 months but don't have benefits thru them... so when i leave work i will not get paid. is there any way of getting financial help in new york? i know i can't go for unemployment. i have been trying to find out info on Short term disability but not successfully.
Does anyone know of anything to help pregnant freelancers?
