I lost my job yesterday and had two weeks vacation saved up at the time I was dismissed. Does North Carolina Law provide that I get paid for this earned time?

North Carolina law requires that a terminated employee receive any accrued but unused vacation UNLESS there is a written company policy describing the circumstances under which the time is forfieted.

i was terminated yesterday and had 2 weeks vacation coming. my question is this: the company i work for has 4 stores. 3 in nc and the main company in va. is the company regulated by nc laws if i work and live in nc?
