I came back from lunch on 3/7 and was called into my bosses office where I was notified that my position had been eliminated effective immediately and that the 3 person admin section was being reduced to 2. They gave me 2 weeks severance after being an employee 5 years, my question is this: I have heard that they are now going to hire a temp to answer phones bringing the admin section back to 3, do I have a legal recoarse?

Sorry but based on what you shared, no. It is legal to replace you with a temp if they so choose.
