I was placed on bedrest due to pregnancy complications by my Dr. I applied for FMLA and was approved. I could not return after my FMLA ran out as I was still on complete bedrest and my job was terminated. Now that I'm able to return to work..... can I collect unemployment until I find a new job since I was terminated?

You can certainly apply but that isn't saying it will be granted. It is up to the state to determine if you are eligible.

I don't know about Kentucky, but, in my labor friendly state, if you are not able to work and/or not looking for work, you won't get unemployment.

I'm able to work now( I had my son 7 weeks ago)....and I'm currently looking for a job.

Apply - you might get it but that will be up to your state's UI commission. We can't say for sure.
