Do you mean your wife is pregnant with someone else's child, and you are getting a divorce for that reason? How is it that you know the child is not yours? What verbal agreements do you have?

MomofBoys,

yes, she is pregnant with someone else's child, we're separated for few months since things in the family went bad.

She is cooperating with someone to adopt the child and they want me to sign affidavid of non-paternity to waive my parental rights and which defines me as legal father and has "The Child has conceived while the Birth Mother was married to me. I am currently married to the Birth Mother. I do not believe that I am the biological father of the Child".

Need to prepare/modify this paper so once we divorced I do not have any kind of responsibilities.

The verbal agreements are simple, getting divorsed, she does not want anything from me, I do not want anything from her.

You need to contact a family law attorney. You do not want to take it on yourself. Do you have a divorce attorney? S/he should be able to help you disestablish paternity once the child is born, but nothing can be done until that point.

yes, thats what I asked in first question, just looking for an attorney with recommendation. I've contacted one firm, they asked $5500. I want to shop around a little bit.
