Hi everyone~

I'm extremely frustrated right now. My husband has several court orders regarding visitation time, and has ALWAYS followed them down to the minute. However, his ex-wife has custodial custody of their daughter, so she does whatever she wants. Many times we will show up to pick up his daughter and they won't be home. He's gone weeks without seeing her (including holidays), and she's told that they're playing the "hide from Daddy" game. The police just tell us to file report after report, but it's getting us no where! He will file charges, but we just get a letter from the County prosecutor that they're not pursuing a case. Financially we can't keep going back to court, and the police say they can't enforce the orders.

Please let me know if you've been through this or have any advice. Thanks.

Can you file to modify the visitation agreement based on her not complying with the existing court order?? Rather than file based on the existing agreement violations, time after time, I would hope that you could have it changed so that more effective actions could be taken when she fails to do her part...... ??? Have some wording put in so that when she does not show up for scheduled meetings that the police CAN enforce it???

I know I answered your question with a question (sorry), but I'm hoping someone else here can answer better.... just wanted to share what I was thinking in case it helped somehow...

God Bless!
Amy
