Just to let everyone now!

Things went very well in court this week for m and my son. The judge was either scared strait or maybe just got tired my x's BS. I spent Friday with my son and will get him this Friday coming up as well. Then on Jan 3rd we are excepting the Judges recomendation for visitation which is double the visitation I expected to get. It also alows me overnight weekend visitation by Febuary. My phone visitations have increased s well.

On Friday he was a little shy for the first minute or so, but he did recognise me. After a very short time he just clung to me and did not want to let me out of his site.

My older children and mother will get to meet him for the first time on Friday comming up. I can't wait...

I wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped for everything!

How could Christmas get any better!

I was just wondering for my own information if you were allowed to use e-mails and phone information in court? I know family courts have been allowing it more often.

OMG- that is such wonderful news! I am so glad that the Judge finally saw what was really happening.

I'm curious also, were you able to use the phone recordings in court? If so, that's probably what won the case for you.

We never made it to even trying to use either the emails or the recordings. We had our own Court Recorder to let the judge know that I was willing to apeal anything we thought was unfair. The Judge took both atorneys into chambers and told them what her recomendation was. She criticised how Staci and her atorney had been handeling thins so far. I did find some case law that allows email and recordings in Il. it is still not black and white though. There is also case alowing me to give the recordings to a G.A.L.

Staci has not let me speak to him on the phone since the court order, but I was able to see him for twice in the last week.

He is calling me Daddy again, and wants me with him every second. When I saw Friday he pushed and tugged against his mother to come to me.

I will send an update after the final court docs are signed.
