I am an hourly employee of one of the many casinos along the MS Gulf Coast.
After working some overtime over the last pay period, I noticed on my pay stub that the hours shown do not reflect the hours worked. It was not "approved" overtime, but as I was the only employee left on the clock at the end of the shift, I believe that I am required to stay until relieved.
Many of my fellow employees have related that managers' correcting overtime is common practice throughout all departments in this particular casino.
I know that many concessions were made for the gaming industry after Hurricane Katrina as incentive for them to return, but surely this isn't one of them.
Thanks for any insight.
