I have been working for a company all this year, 07, I was promised commissions on everything I sold. I have sold over $300,000 for the company this year and haven't recieved a thing. Everytime I ask for it the owner tells me that there is no money and that they are working on it. The company seems to have money to go to shows, advertise, and etc... It seems that they are just not paying me. Do I have a legal complaint or is this company allowed to do this?

If you are an employee, I suggest that you contact the Federal Department of Labor or the state equivalent right away.
If you are not an employee, your only likely recourse is to go to court. If the claim is small enough, you could file in Small Claims and not necessarily need an attorney. The judges in small claims are really helpful to the defendant and plaintiff, so an attorney might not be needed.

Do you have an employment contract or written agreement guaranteeing such commissions?
