I sign a contract to be a Project Manager for a company, which says that both side require a 6 weeks notice. A year later the boss comes to me and say we don't have any project manager work for you but week need a business analyst and the pay is going to be lower. I advice him that 6 weeks would be in January, he returned saying that the project manager position is not being removed and he will assign business analyst work until he can find project management work. He took this step to avoid me getting unemployment as he need 90+% of my time as a business analyst.

1. Can he change my title of Project Manager to business analyst ?

2. The contract is New Jersey law he says, even though I'm a CA resident, work in CA?

3. He say the below statement in the contract allows him to do this. Is this true

You may be required to work in any capacity and in any department or division of company, Inc. (company) by the management of company Productions, Inc. (company) or by the chief of any such department or division subject to I.N.S approval.

You can take the contract to an employment or contract attorney in Ca. where you work for review.

However, is this a different employer than the one you got terminated from in your thread: http://www.laborlawtalk.com/showthread.php?t=183583 also posted today?
