i need to know all the parameters for overtime due to an emlpoyee in the state of illinois and if an employer is legally bound to pay an employee double time; if so i need to know the parameters as well. thank you.

There are only a small number of states with daily overtime rules and IL is not one of them. IL has no double time rule and is subject only to the general federal hours worked past 40 in the work week rule.
