I have a very important question and hoping someone can give me some inside or opinion about it, before I go ahead an ask an attorney about it.

We bought a brand new house,its a Villa, not a Condo...the house we bought in a little community,in which the houses are exactly alike, but not attached to eachother and the backyard and front yard does not have to look the same either...they are all induvidual homes,just called villas and look the same as the houses next to you.

Anyway,the builder asks and wants everyone to pay an association fee,for lawn work.... its $75 a month...
are home is not yet done,but once we do the closing the so called association fee is due each month.

My g-f mom and dad also bought a home there so did her sister...

now,the deed,nor any paperwork mentions any association fee or that U have to pay any kind of fee...afterall its not a condo...

But alot of the people there who purchased the homes pay the fee's but I know not many are for it...

Since the fee and nothing is mentioned in the deed, are you required to pay this so called association fee,for your own home that is not a condo,and its an induvidual home?

Its my house, my property, do I have any legal right not to pay that fee and refure do so? as long I myself take care of my lawn or hire my own service to take care of it..???

It's a sneaky greedy thing some governments now require. They want more "green space," so they make the contractor leave a "common area, which is a lot with no house. The fee is to take care of that.

The religion of environmentalism should not be forced upon others.
